Worship is at the heart of what we do at Sherwood Methodist Church. We understand that people worship in different ways and so we have a range of worship styles from traditional to contemporary, from vibrant family occasions to opportunities for quiet reflection. You are welcome to join us on any occasion.

Morning Worship

Morning Worship takes place at 10:30am every Sunday. It is our largest worship gathering usually attracting around 100 people. Holy Communion takes place once a month. During morning worship our Junior Church meets for play and learning for the younger members of our congregation.

Roughly once every two months, we worship together for All Age Worship where the children remain in for the whole service. This worship takes a variety of forms including crafts, discussion, puzzles, art, drama and many more. We have also used some of the Scripture Union ‘Worship Together’ materials.

Fair Trade tea and coffee is served in the foyer after morning worship and we warmly invite you to join us.

Traditional Worship

Traditional Worship takes place on the 2nd & 4th Sundays each month at 9am. This service lasts for approximately 45 minutes.

Evening Services

This service varies in style and content from our 'Praise Jam' to a service of meditation, or a Bible study.

Wednesday Communion

On the first Wednesday of each month we join together for Holy Communion.

Messy Church

Messy Church takes place on the second Saturday of each month from 10:45am - 1:00pm.
